Custom Vinyls Projects

Ok so we have talked a little about out Glass etching projects figured we should add some of our Vinyl projects too... here are a few we

have done over the last few months...

Custom rear windows  on the truck...                          this is a hood scoop that was done with a 20" wide vinyl

front window visor                                                    these multi color decals were on the side of a small car...

here you have a set of door maginets done for a customer

We can put decals on just about anything.... here is a project we just finnished also....

FORD MUSTANG RACER

Newest project entering the garage... 1983 Ford mustang... NARF RACINGS New car. Let me tell ya she is quite the mess. But with a little work and determination she will be ready..

well as you can see we have a lot of work to do ... the interior is being completely removed from the dash to the back hatch. all carpet and seats and panels, all the under hood wiring and smog junk is being removed ...

stock 302cid motor was removed before we got the car, but the 5sp trans was left behind, This will be removed and replaced with a Automatic trans. the motor will be replaced with a rebuilt Mid block 400m with mild cam and headers. (still insearch for headers) front radiator support will have to be replaced as it was bent when we got it.

Yup she is at it again... all I asked her to do was clean out the inside of the car and look what happened. she literley cleaned out the inside of the car from the seats to the side panels heck if I had not come out when I did all we would have left would be an empty shell. We pretty much have that know but at lest she vacumed the carpet instead of removing it .. (word is she wants to take that out too).

Ok so the old transmission is gone. and what a mess it made on the floor.. know time to clean up that greasy mess in there and see if we can get this thing ready for a motor.

Ok so its just about ready to drop the motor in .. still need to do some more wiring for the fuel pump and the windshield wipers .. ya they say we have to have them part of the rules. Oh and gues what.... we got the headlights and tail lights working today... so that part is done.OK switch box is in and adding wiring for electric fan and water pump motor.. Ignition module and tack added

Ok so we are waiting for the transmission and other parts we decided to do somthing with this gaudy looking interior. yes we know it is not going to make it go faster but hey might as well make it look have way decent.

OH no she found the camera and cought me, well the front is still all red but thats ok.. the rest will match the seats . still need to add the rear spring and shock support. and build the brackets for the NOS bottles.. (whooops did I say that) shhh..... those will not be in until later in the season.. provided the motor will take it haha... and the rest of the car holds up. anyway next major project is getting the seats bolted in. will need to cusomize seat brackets to fit the racing seats and harness.

Currently we are waiting for the brackets to come back from the metal shop. In the mean time we need to get the motor ready to go in... looks like we have all the parts now to finish it and have it ready to install as soon as the transmission is done.

Oh no she found the camera again... haha.... ok so the headers are on ... and the brackets for the alternator... know the Carb is on and the new MSD wires and mounts... looks like the only thing left for the motor is the electric motor for the water pump and alt. should have that in the next few days and have it put on...Thanks to a nice gentlemen in Wasilla who had a few 400 blocks we were able to get all the brackets needed and the plugs for the intake.  will be back in a few days with some more up dates on the progress.

Ok so we have the electric motor on for the water pump... that was quite the job trying to figure out how to fabricate the brackets to mount it... but we did it and it works . ok lets see whats next.  Ok so the next project was to add the new shifter ... which ment taking out the old one  which was for a manual transmission so after searching Craigslist we were able to find a Mr. Gasket Rachet Promatic shifter that we were able to pickup at a very reasonable price. Know time to fabricate a plate to mount the shifter on. A Custom cut plate with bolts in the origenal holes seem to work just fine. notching out the corner to allow the cable to be sent around the the rear of the transmission

so there it is know mounted in the car... the only thing left to to do is hook up the cable and add the neutral saftey switch. and the cover which will be after everything is in place... OH and look there is a seat installed too... and the NEW Tach finally came in so we decided that moving it to the side of the dash for better viewing along with that we added a shift light.  Also thanks to the FATBOY  donating a set of guages  to keep a closer eye on that motor it took a little bit to figure out where they were going to go.. but with a little bit of custom bracket building they are in

they actually worked out really well where they are... Well after finnishing the guages I fgured it was time to find out what was wrong with the steering wheel... as it was quite loose and shackey... after pulling the wheel off I doing that the POT metal collar around the knuckle for the tilt steering  was broken... so after replacing the pins for the tilt lock we used a Large hose clamp to lock the wheel in place so it would not tilt and that seem to take up all the sloppiness in the wheel... so know that problem fixed...

Hey check this out... if you look at the top row of photos .. you will notice the drivers side door that had all the rust on it .. and no window in it... well thanks to a little help from a friend we removed the front fender and removed the old door and replaced it with a new door that had no rust and had good glass in it... well the door was actually brown... we just could not have a brown door on a black car... so with a little black primer from a spray can and some gloss paint from another can .. it  know matches the rest of the car and if you did not notice.. there are some decals on the car thanks to shelley she spent several hours designing and cutting and putting them on the car...

Interior Swap (88) S-10 Pickup

Will be posting Pictures and details shortly of complete interior swap from Bench seat to buckets, Swapping head liner and rear panels.. and Door panels ... even adding Lighted rear view mirror and wiring. what ever you do never ask your roommate to clean out the inside of your truck because this is what it will look like when she is done. (nothing left but the floor mat)

Process of removing old parts Including Full Bench seat. which was blue in color..Truck has no rear panel installed so will have to modify the deck to attached the rear side panels and back panel. with carpet and trim. had to remove dome light and upper panels to install the new headliner. also removed mirror and installed new mirror with lights and ran power wires over head and attached to rear dome light.

Ok know we have all the old stuff removed time to start putting the new goodies in. we started with the rear panels and trim with the carpeted wall panel and the lower window trim then moved to he side speaker and seatbelt panels. and at this point we have not considered what type of speakers will be putting in as the hearing is not so great these days it does not really matter as long as it makes a little noise. Next stop is the headliner. which is sorta a pain to get put in as we had to juggle it around the light and side posts.

Job is almost complete will post more pictures soon... new seats are in Stereo is in ... working on lights and other goodies.  ALSO Stay tuned for newest project

Glass Etching check it out

Our first attempt to do some etching on a vehicle window

The customer was very happy with the outcome of this job. she will be back to have more done and is already thinking about what to do next....

These eagles are custom made by me, and etched by shelley.. they are on both rear windows

Ok so the next project I tried was combining Glass etching with some vinyl added to bring out the color and hey gues what it worked... and we used Shelleys car as a test.... and she actually liked it so.... what do ya think

these are a custom made rose about 6 inches tall on the rear windows... with the pedals and leaves done in vinyl and the vines and stem are actual etched in to the glass.. I made a larger set for the rear window will post when they are put done....
