Are we ready to Race the new Season?
Just a quick note to all the folks that have been hanging out here at narfnet.com .... I sure hope you have been enjoying your visits and hope you do continue to come back.. and please let all your friends know we are here.. for all there racing photo enjoyment. Hopfully showing all the excitement here will bring some new faces to the track either as new racers or even new spectators. As for you racers or even fans if you would like to see a spacific photo or even have your photo taken with a racers car please feel free to drop me a note and I would be glad to make it happen for you. Are you excited about racing? Looking for the ultimate job to put you in the middle of the action? Alaska Raceway Park needs you! We are looking for someone with management experience to run the track seasonally from now until the end of September. In state or out, if you are interested, please contact Earl at 355-1541.

Season 2006
Well we are back from out trip to LAS VEGAS, Let me tell you what a time we had. We did a little bit of everything and had fun doing it all... EVEN had a chance to visit the LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEED WAY, had a chance to see the new work they are doing to the NASCAR TRACK, got to even go for a ride in one of the OFFICIAL track trucks. (THANKS COOKIE) he can be seen in the track clean up truck somewhere around turn 3 on race day. If you would like to see some really great photos they can be found below under VEGAS TRIP.
WELL AS YOU MAY KNOW WE EXPERIENCED A GREAT BIG COMPUTER CRASH ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO AND HAD TO SEND THE COMPUTER OUT TO GET FIXED AND WE HAD TO USE A TEMP COMPUTER, WELL WE HAVE THE COMPUTER BACK UP AND RUNNING AGAIN AND EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE IN WORKING ORDER. THERE FOR WE CAN KNOW COMENCE TO PRINTING AND SENDING OUT PHOTOS TO ALL THAT ASKED FOR THEM. WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE IN THIS MATTER WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO GET EVERYTHING PRINTED AND OUT IN THE MAIL THIS WEEK.
As we stumble around the race track awaiting our turn to race we carry a camera and take lots of Photos of the nice cars and other racers. As the season progress's we will do out best to keep the site updated by date and events. As I did not originally set this site up to charge folks for the photo's we take. However a lot of folks have asked to have some of them printed. So here is the scoop. If you see a thumbnail photo you like and would like a printed copy of it please send me an e-mail with the (Date of the event and the photo number and what size) you would like and I would be glad to print the photo for you and bring it to the next racing event. Please try and do your requests before Friday so I will have time to get them ready. Pricing is as follows. Please understand this is just to cover ink and paper costs. I believe these are reasonable
5x7 glossy photo ($4.00) ------ 8x10 glossy photo ($7.00)
WELL THE SEASON HAS COME TO A CLOSE FOR THE RACER. WE HAVE DONE OUT BEST TO COVER ALL THE EVENTS OF THE SEASON. WE HAVE ALSO TRIED OUR BEST TO GET PHOTOS OF EVERYONES CARS. HOWEVER THERE MAY BE A FEW THAT WE HAVE MISSED. WE MAY HAVE BEEN RACING AT THE TIME YOU RAN OR JUST DID NOT SEE YOU AND WE DO APOLOGIZE IF YOU DO NOT SEE YOUR CAR IN ANY OF THE 1000'S OF PHOTOS HERE. ALL THE PHOTOS HAVE BEEN UPDATED AS OF LABOR DAY WEEKEND, THERE ARE 2 EVENTS LEFT TO TAKE PHOTOS OF AND THEY ARE A MONEY RACE ON THE 9-10-2006 AND THE BANQUIT ON THE 7TH OF OCTOBER 2006 AND WE WILL BE AT BOTH TO TAKE THE LAST PHOTOS.
OK THE LAST THING, THEN ON TO THE PHOTOS, AS MOST OF YOU KNOW OUR ATTEMPTS TO PRINT PHOTOS LAST WEEKEND FAILED DO TO EQUIPMENT FAILURE. ( DARN PRINTER) AND SOME OF YOU MAY HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR PHOTOS WHAT I AM ASKING ALL TO DO IS PLEASE SEND ME YOUR MAILING ADDRESS SO I MAY GET THESE IN THE MAIL TO YOU RIGHT AWAY. AND FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WANT PRINTED PHOTOS PLEASE FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS FROM ABOVE AND ALSO INCLUDE YOUR MAILING ADDRESS AND WE WILL BE GLAD TO SEND THEM OUT RIGHT AWAY.
